1. I agree to use the Web Store only for the purposes permitted by this Agreement and the Google Chrome Web Store Program Policies https://developer.chrome.com/docs/webstore/program_policies and any applicable laws , regulations or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions (including any laws relating to the export of data or software to and from from the United States or other relevant countries).
2. I agree that if I use the Online Store to distribute Products, I will protect the privacy and legal rights of users. If a user provides me or my Product to access or use, a username, password or login or other personal information, I must make the user aware that the information will be available to My product and I must provide legally adequate privacy notice and protection to those users. Furthermore, My Product may only use such information for the limited purposes for which the user has given me permission to do so. If My Product stores personal or sensitive user-provided information, it must do so securely and only for as long as necessary.But if a user has opted into a separate agreement with me that allows me or my Product to store or use personal or sensitive information directly related to my Product (excluding other product or application), the terms of that separate agreement govern the use of that information. If a user provides My Product with Google Account information, then My Product may only use that information to access the user's Google Account when and for the limited purposes that the user allowed me to do so.If My Product (or any part thereof) targets or directs itself to underage users, I must ensure that such Product (or any part thereof) is always comply with applicable laws or regulations (including the US if Children's Online Privacy Rights (COPPA) and the European Union
3. Prohibited actions.
3.1 I agree that I will not engage in any activity with the Web Store, including developing or publishing Products or other materials, that violates the Google Chrome Web Store Program Policies online or:
knowingly violates a third party's terms of service,
violate any applicable law or regulation,
interfere with, disrupt, damage, harm or gain unauthorized access to the machines, hardware, devices, servers, networks, data, or other properties or services of any third party including including but not limited to users of Google Chrome, Google or any network operator, or
creating a spammy user experience, whether by posting repetitive content or misleading information about the purpose of the app,
infringe the intellectual property rights of others,
allow unauthorized downloading of streaming media or content,
display (via text, images, video or other means) or links to:
illegal content,
invasion of personal privacy or violation of the right to publicity,
content that interferes with the operation of any other party's servers, networks or services,
encourage hostility or incite violence,
infringe the intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights of any party, or
pornography, obscenity, nudity or sexual activity.
3.2 I agree not to access (or attempt to access) the Online Store by any means other than the interface provided by Google, unless I am specifically authorized to do so in a separate agreement with Google .
3.3 I may not redirect users or provide links to any other website that mimics an Online Store or identifies itself as an Online Store. For the avoidance of doubt, I may provide the Product as an access point to the paid services for which the customer has subscribed and provided payment information.
3.4 My Product may not use or include the NPAPI plug-in unless I have prior permission from Google for such use.
3.5 I agree that I am solely responsible for (and Google is not responsible to me or to any third party for) any Products I publish in the Online Store and for the consequences thereof. action (including any loss or damage to which Google or any third party may suffer) by doing so.
3.6 I agree that I am solely responsible for (and Google has no liability to me or to any third party for) any breach of my obligations under this Agreement, any contract or provision. applicable third party terms of service or any applicable law or regulation and the consequences (including any loss or damage that Google or any third party may suffer) of any such violation.
3.7 Product Rating. The Online Store will allow users to rate Products. Along with other factors, Product ratings can be used to determine a Product's position on the Online Store with Products with a higher rating generally having a better position, subject to the right to change. Google's location is at Google's sole discretion. For New Developers with no Product history, Google may use or publish performance measurements such as uninstall rate to identify or remove Products that do not meet relevant standards. acceptable, at Google's discretion. Google reserves the right to display Products to users in a manner that will be determined in Google's sole discretion.My product may be subject to user ratings with which I may disagree. I can contact Google if I have any questions or concerns about those ratings at the One Stop Support Contact Form .
3.8 Marketing My Products. I will be responsible for uploading my Products to the Online Store, providing necessary Product information to the user, and correctly disclosing the security permissions necessary for the Product to function on the user's machine, hardware or other devices. Products that are not properly uploaded will not be published in the Online Store.
